MATERIALS & DESIGN
• Made from high-quality premium neoprene
• Soft, durable, quick-drying, and temperature-adaptive
• Antibacterial properties to support hygiene during everyday use
SUITABLE AGE & WEIGHT
• Weight range: 6–15 kg
• Approximate age: 6–24 months
• Suitable only for infants 6+ months who can hold their head upright unassisted
This ensures proper airway positioning and spinal support.
WATER SAFETY
OH XAVY carriers are designed for shallow water use only, including:
• Beach shallows
• Wading pools
• Gentle water play where the adult remains upright
IMPORTANT:
• Not suitable for swimming, diving, surfing, or water sports
• Never submerge your baby’s head while using the carrier
• Always maintain full control of your footing and surroundings
WARNING: FALL & POSITIONAL HAZARDS
To reduce the risk of injury:
• Check all buckles, clips, and straps are securely fastened before each use
• Ensure your baby is positioned correctly and supported at all times
• Keep one hand on your baby when bending, leaning, or moving
• Take extra care on uneven or slippery surfaces
SUFFOCATION HAZARD
• Keep your baby’s face visible at all times
• Ensure baby’s nose and mouth remain unobstructed
• Check baby’s breathing frequently during use
T.I.C.K.S. POSITIONING GUIDELINES
For safe babywearing, follow the T.I.C.K.S. principles:
• Tight: Carrier should be snug, holding baby close
• In view at all times: Baby’s face should always be visible
• Close enough to kiss: You should be able to kiss the top of baby’s head
• Keep chin off chest: Baby should never be curled forward
• Supported back: Baby’s back should be naturally supported with chest and tummy against you
HEAT SAFETY
Neoprene may retain warmth in hot conditions.
• Dress baby lightly underneath the carrier
• Check baby regularly for signs of overheating, including:
• Fussiness
• Flushed skin
• Rapid breathing
• Remove carrier immediately if baby shows signs of heat stress
Remember to Slip, Slop, Slap when outdoors.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
• Gentle machine wash or hand wash
• Rinse after each use, especially after salt or chlorinated water
• Dry in the shade
• Do not tumble dry
